Worried about your next mortgage payment? Behind on your mortgage?
Come learn more about how HAFA (Home Affordable Foreclosures Alternatives Program) and HAMP (Home Affordable Modification Program)
We may be able to help you by either modifying your mortgage or getting a pre-approved short-sale.
Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP) allows eligible homeowners to stay in their homes and lower their monthly payments to 31% of their pre-tax income, or lower, through a loan modification. In 2009, the Treasury Department introduced the Home Affordable Foreclosures Alternatives Program (HAFA) to provide a viable option for homeowners who are unable to keep their homes through
the existing HAMP. The HAFA program took effect on April 5, 2010 and sunsets on December 31, 2012. HAFA provides incentives in connection with a short sale or a deed-in-lieu of foreclosure (DIL) used to avoid foreclosure on a loan eligible for modification under the HAMP program. Servicer’s participating in HAMP are also required to comply with HAFA. This FREE educational seminar will be hosted by attorney, Kimberly Bosshardt. You will be able to find out more about these governmental programs designed to help the consumer modify their home mortgage or streamline the short sale process.
